  • Penolakan atau keterlibatan dari para manager yang kurang, karena proses talent management dianggap menambah  pekerjaan harusnya tugas HRD.
  • Manager tidak mau memberikan katergori penilaian anak buahnya menjadi Top performaer, rata-rata atau under performer.
  • CEO atau manager senior tidak cukup terlibat dalam pembentukan talent management strategi.
  • Struktur organisasi yang menimbulkan ketidak jelasan peran dan alur koordinasi dalam pengelolaan talent.
  • Strategi bisnis tidak selaras dengan strategi talent management.
  • Career path tidak memberikan peluang pengembangan yang sama untuk setiap talent.
